with trying to figure out my headcanon for splash woman I decided to experiment with lighter colors.
it isn't that good I'm so used to drawing with darker and brighter colours so its totally different for me! although I do have to say I like blue and purple.

I'm pretty sure I'll change this a lot thinking of giving her black hair.... maybe making it shorter, maybe tentacle hair? haha I'm not sure yet :)

but yeah! first time drawing a fishy person..think I did ok XD

i didn't use any textures or filters. to get this effect i used a thing on photoshop called 'selective colour' it just makes it easier to mess aroud with the colours you can also do it in nearly every other program ^^
